Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow for a Sales Representative. The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, and promoting SVAJRS’s services to institutions and individual authors. The individual will focus on generating subscription sales, managing accounts, and providing exceptional customer service. Daily tasks include researching potential clients, preparing proposals, conducting sales presentations, and meeting sales targets. Collaboration with the marketing team to improve outreach efforts is also expected. Qualifications Strong interpersonal communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in sales strategies, account management, and lead generation techniques. Organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Knowledge of the research or publishing industry is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in using CRM tools and basic technical skills for managing client data. Results-oriented mindset with a proactive and goal-driven approach to achieving sales targets.
