SW Senior Engineer

As a Software Senior Engineer at Dell Technologies in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in developing sophisticated systems and software solutions tailored to meet customers" business goals and needs. Specifically, you will be part of a team working on BIOS/EFI firmware development for Dell's Enterprise systems including Servers, Storage, and Network systems. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with a team of experienced engineers to enhance and develop Automation suite for Enterprise BIOS/UEFI FW using Python as the primary language. You will actively contribute to the architecture design of the automation suite by conducting comparative studies and quick proofs of concept (PoCs) on various available tools. Additionally, you will be involved in automating Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) processes for Enterprise BIOS/UEFI FW. The ideal candidate for this role should thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and possess the following qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent - 5-8 years of experience in Automation development using Python language - Proficiency in python testing modules such as unittest, pytest, nosetest - Experience in developing Automation Framework from scratch and utilizing open-source frameworks - Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD processes Desirable qualifications include: - Prior Automation Experience in BIOS/UEFI or Pre-OS Environment - Exposure to ELK framework - Knowledge and experience in working with JavaScript and HTML5 At Dell Technologies, we believe in the power of each individual to make an impact.
