SW Senior Engineer

As a Software Senior Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to develop complex systems and software solutions aligned with our customers" business objectives and the overall business landscape. This specific role involves working on the development of BIOS/EFI firmware for Dell's Enterprise systems including Servers, Storage, and Network systems. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with a skilled team of engineers to develop and improve Automation suite (Functional and E2E) for Enterprise BIOS/UEFI FW utilizing Python as the primary language. - Contribute to the architecture design of the automation suite through comparative studies and swift Proof of Concepts (PoCs) on different available tools. - Automate Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) processes for Enterprise BIOS/UEFI FW in coordination with the engineering team. - Enjoy working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment that fosters innovation and collaboration. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field. - 5-8 years of experience in Automation development using Python language. - Proficiency in python testing modules such as unittest, pytest, nosetest. - Strong background in developing Automation Framework from scratch and leveraging open source frameworks. - Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in Automation related to BIOS/UEFI or Pre-OS Environment is a plus. - Exposure to ELK framework is desirable. - Knowledge and experience in working with JavaScript and HTML5 would be advantageous.
