SVT/PV Engineer

Role Overview: As a SVT/PV Engineer at Ciena, you will be responsible for developing test strategies, automation script development, and executing test plans for Ciena's Packet Optical products, focusing on OTN Transport, Switching, and NMS. Your contribution will play a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of telecom networks. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and automate test strategies for Telecom networks. - Create and execute test plans using TCL/Python. - Identify and automate test scenarios. - Debug and resolve defects with design teams. - Ensure compliance with industry standards (ITU-T, IETF, IEEE, ANSI). Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Optical Communications. - 2+ years of experience in Telecom System Testing. - Proficiency in OTN Transport & Switching, Test Automation (TCL/Python), Defect Analysis & Debugging, and Telecom Network Testing. - Experience in test planning, automation, and debugging.
