You are invited to join our team as an Analyst-LCA. Your main responsibility will involve conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for process-based industries, focusing on data collection, modeling, and interpretation. Specifically, your expertise in Life Cycle Assessment methodologies, tools, and data interpretation will be crucial, with a requirement of hands-on experience in at least two LCA projects related to process-based industries such as chemicals, manufacturing, or energy. Your role will require proficiency in utilizing LCA software tools like SimaPro, OpenLCA, or GaBi to model and analyze environmental impacts accurately. Additionally, you will be expected to perform inventory analysis by collecting data on raw materials, energy use, emissions, and waste. Interpretation of LCA results and the preparation of comprehensive reports with actionable insights will be essential tasks. Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations will be a key aspect of the role. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant LCA standards (ISO 14040/44) and industry regulations. Moreover, identifying opportunities for process optimization and sustainability improvements based on LCA insights will be part of your duties. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of two completed LCA projects in process-based industries is required. Proficiency in LCA software tools like SimaPro, GaBi, or OpenLCA is essential. Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines are also necessary attributes for this role.
