Role & responsibilities: Should have knowledge and experience in: Develop and implement the organization's sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations. Manage the process of obtaining assurance on sustainability disclosures, ensuring data accuracy and credibility. Lead and manage sustainability-related projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery of initiatives. Identify areas for improvement in the organization's environmental and social performance, and develop and implement strategies to address them. Stay updated on relevant environmental and social regulations, and ensure the organization complies with all applicable laws and standards. Ability to conduct assessments and evaluations of environmental principles Qualifications: Education:A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, sustainability, or related disciplines. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., GRI, ESG) are a plus. Experience: 5-10 years of experience in sustainability, with a focus on sustainability reporting and assurance within large organizations or consulting firms. Skills:Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and communication skills. Experience with sustainability frameworks and reporting standards (GRI, BRSR, CDP) is highly desirable. Role & responsibilities Demonstrate understanding of the basic concepts of Sustainability, ESG Reporting Frameworks (GRI, BRSR, TCFD, SASB, CDP, CDSB, UNPRI, SDG etc.) and Assist in the development of Sustainability Report, Integrated Report and Business Responsibility & Sustainability Report (BRSR). Demonstrate basic understanding of concepts of climate change, energy and GHG emissions, carbon footprint, water consumption and waste management Assist in Assurance of Sustainability Disclosures according to ISAE 3000, AA1000AS, etc. Contribute and assist in development of proposals, webinars, training modules, presentations. Demonstrated ease at skillfully leveraging MS office tools such as Power point, Word, excel spreadsheets etc. Assist in conducting gap assessments according to International Disclosure Frameworks. Extensive research and articulation abilities to consolidate and convey information in an organized and concise manner. Assist in conducting Stakeholder Engagement & Materiality Assessment. Assist in in developing ESG strategy, framework, disclosures as per client requirements.
