Surgical Oncologist

Job Description: As a Surgical Oncologist at our Chiplun branch, you will play a crucial role in managing and performing complex cancer surgeries. Your compassionate approach towards providing holistic patient care will be essential in coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. Key Responsibilities: - Perform major and minimally invasive oncological surgeries with precision and expertise. - Develop individualized surgical treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each cancer patient. - Offer pre- and post-operative patient care along with counseling to ensure their well-being throughout the treatment process. - Collaborate closely with oncologists and other specialists to deliver comprehensive care and support to the patients. - Maintain accurate medical records and diligently follow up with patients to track their progress. - Take on the responsibility of training and mentoring junior doctors and healthcare staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in surgical oncology. Qualifications: - MS in General Surgery with Fellowship/Qualification in Surgical Oncology. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in performing major cancer surgeries with a focus on delivering high-quality care. - Strong knowledge of cancer staging, treatment protocols, and advanced surgical techniques to address complex cases effectively. - Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and their families, strong decision-making abilities, and a collaborative approach towards teamwork to ensure seamless patient care.,
