The Role: Manager Structure We’re looking for an experienced engineering professional to take full ownership of Marine and Offshore Structural Design and Production Engineering projects. This leadership role demands deep technical expertise, project management capabilities, and the ability to guide and grow a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities: Take full ownership of all Marine and Offshore Structural Design and Production Engineering Projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery. Conduct regular project reviews through team meetings, progress tracking, and risk assessment. Review complex engineering calculations including: o Any kind of first principle calculations o FEA-based structural assessments o Class rule-based scantling and compliance checks o Linear and Non-linear structural Analysis using tools like ANSYS, SACS, SESAM, NASTRAN, FEMAP Coordinate and oversee the preparation of structural models, drawings, and related documentation. Lead, mentor, and manage teams of Structural Engineers, Modellers, and Draftsmen. Build team capability through ongoing training, knowledge sharing, and best practice implementation. Act as a technical lead in client interactions, representing the company in design and business development discussions. Develop detailed project work plans and oversee their execution in coordination with internal teams and clients. Contribute to design development and understand both technical and non-technical requirements for successful execution. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing all technical and non-technical communication. Coordinate the development of project specifications and ensure alignment with construction documents. Conduct constructability reviews and participate in continuous improvement of design processes. Develop project scopes, budgets, and design strategies in collaboration with clients and internal teams. Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in structural/outfitting design and project management, preferably in the shipbuilding, maritime, or offshore industries. Proven track record of managing project teams and client communications on mid-to-large scale engineering projects. This role demands frequent travel across these cities to train, coach, and mentor on-ground sales teams. You will be responsible for conducting high-impact training sessions, developing custom learning content tailored to regional requirements, and creating a measurable performance improvement roadmap. Key Responsibilities Training Design & Execution Design and deliver structured training programs aligned with the (Client) sales methodology — covering the full funnel from lead management to closure. Key Requirements 3–6 years of experience in sales training, preferably in real estate, insurance, banking, or BFSI.
