Role & responsibilities Room Cleaning Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to hotel standards Make beds with fresh linens and arrange pillows properly Dust furniture, fixtures, and decorative items Vacuum carpets and mop bathroom floors Bathroom Maintenance Scrub and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs Polish mirrors, chrome fixtures, and glass surfaces Replenish towels, toiletries, and bathroom amenities Empty trash bins and replace liners Room Setup Replenish in-room amenities (coffee, tea, water, stationery) Replace used glassware and restock minibars Arrange furniture and ensure room presentation meets standards Check and report any damaged or missing items Inspection & Reporting Inspect rooms for maintenance issues or repairs needed Report damaged furniture, fixtures, or equipment to supervisors Note missing items or guest property left behind Ensure all electrical appliances and lights are functioning Inventory Management Collect and organize cleaning supplies on trolley Track linen usage and return soiled items to laundry Maintain adequate stock of amenities and cleaning products Handle guest laundry if requested Guest Service Respond politely to guest requests during cleaning Respect guest privacy and "Do Not Disturb" signs Deliver extra items (towels, pillows, amenities) upon request Report urgent guest needs to front desk or supervisor Safety & Standards Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures Maintain cleanliness standards and complete assigned quota Secure guest rooms after cleaning Adhere to lost and found protocols
