STUDENT COUNSELLOR (FOR SCHOOL) Key Responsibilities: Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions for students facing academic, emotional, behavioural, social, or family-related concerns. Identify at-risk students and offer early intervention strategies. Address issues such as stress, anxiety, peer pressure, bullying, self-esteem, relationships, substance abuse, grief, suicidal ideation, and trauma. Maintain confidentiality while documenting student progress and intervention plans. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to develop student support strategies. Conduct regular awareness campaigns, life skill workshops, and mental health drives. Assist in developing Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and contribute to Inclusive Education practices. Refer students to external mental health professionals, if needed. Conduct teacher and parent sensitization sessions on adolescent mental health, communication, and empathy. Coordinate with Special Educator for Supporting students with Learning difficulties. Educational Qualifications: Mandatory: Master’s degree in Psychology / Counselling Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Applied Psychology. Preferred: Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance & Counselling , Adolescent Counselling or School Counselling from a recognized institute. Additional Certifications (Desirable): Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Life Skills Training, Suicide Prevention, Trauma-Informed Care., Knowledge in various therapies. Salary : 18000_to 30,000 (plus PF & ESI) LOCATION: HYDERABAD REGIONAL LANGUAGE PLUS ENGLISH COMMUNICATION IS MUST Adequate training and work experience as counsellor only can apply.
