As a Brand Strategist, you will be a key member of our marketing team, responsible for driving brand positioning and strategic initiatives across our hypermarket network. Your role will involve collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive brand strategies aimed at strengthening our market position and enhancing customer loyalty. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research, analyzing consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to guide strategic brand decisions. You will be tasked with creating brand architecture and messaging strategies that resonate with diverse customer segments and geographic markets. Leading brand positioning projects such as brand audits, perception studies, and strategic repositioning initiatives will also be part of your role. Collaboration with creative teams will be essential to ensure that the brand strategy translates effectively into campaign concepts and visual identity. You will design customer journey mapping and brand touchpoint optimization strategies to enhance interactions across all hypermarket touchpoints. Developing brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and strategic playbooks for consistent brand execution will be crucial. Furthermore, you will partner with merchandising and category teams to align private label and vendor brand strategies with the overall brand positioning. Monitoring brand performance metrics, customer sentiment, and market share data will enable you to measure the effectiveness of your strategic initiatives. Working closely with internal and external communication teams to ensure integrated brand messaging across all channels will also be part of your role. Your qualifications should include an MBA or equivalent degree in Marketing, Business Strategy, Psychology, or a related field, along with at least 10 years of professional experience in brand strategy, marketing strategy, or strategic planning roles. A strong analytical background and the ability to translate consumer insights into actionable brand strategies are essential. Experience in retail, FMCG, or consumer brands within agencies, consultancies, or in-house marketing teams is preferred. Proficiency in market research methodologies, data analysis tools, strategic frameworks, consumer psychology, brand positioning theory, and marketing strategy principles will be required. Experience with brand tracking studies, consumer segmentation, competitive analysis, and understanding of retail customer experience and omnichannel brand strategy are also valuable. Prior experience in hypermarket, organized retail, or multi-location retail environments is highly regarded. Excellent presentation and communication skills are necessary for influencing senior stakeholders. Additionally, staying current with retail industry trends, consumer behavior shifts, and emerging brand strategy methodologies will be crucial for success in this role.
