CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Engineer/hydraulic modeler to work on gravity and pressurized network Projects in the Middle East. As a candidate, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks: - Developing concept, preliminary, detailed design, and related calculations for Storm/Water and Sewer design. - Developing and analyzing hydraulic models to optimize stormwater and sewerage scheme options/solutions. - Demonstrating a good understanding of hydrology and the ability to develop sustainable solutions. - Having sound experience working in InfoWorks ICM, SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, HEC-RAS, with knowledge of GIS as an added qualification. - Coordinating with the CAD team, checking drawings for design details, interface works, clash between utilities and structures, etc. - Being a good team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. - Having working experience with Middle East Standards (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar). Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil, Water Resources, or a related discipline. - 15+ years of related experience. - Professional Qualifications will be an added advantage. - Good written and verbal English language communication skills. - Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Amount of Travel Required: 0% Background Check and Drug Testing Information: CDM Smith reserves the right to require background checks, including criminal, employment, education, licensure, etc., as well as credit and motor vehicle checks when applicable for certain positions. In addition, drug testing may be conducted for designated positions. Background checks are conducted after an offer of employment has been made in the United States.
