Storeperson

The Store Person will be responsible for managing all materials, consumables, finished goods, and spare parts required in the plastic molding factory. The role includes maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring timely issue and receipt of materials, and supporting smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:1. Material Handling & Inventory Management

• Receive raw materials (PP, ABS, HIPS, masterbatch, etc.) and verify quantity & quality against purchase orders.
• Store materials properly with correct labeling and batch identification.
• Maintain minimum stock levels for raw materials, packaging, and consumables.
• Track daily material consumption for each molding machine.

2. Issue & Receipt of Goods

• Issue raw material, color, regrind, and packaging material to production as per daily production plan.
• Receive finished goods from production after proper counting and quality clearance.
• Ensure proper documentation for inward and outward movement of goods.

3. Inventory Records & Documentation

• Maintain stock registers (manual or ERP) for raw material, WIP, and finished goods.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock audits.
• Record GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, and dispatch notes accurately.

4. Dispatch & Logistics Support

• Prepare dispatch notes and coordinate with transport for timely shipment.
• Arrange proper packing of finished goods as per order requirement.
• Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) method for dispatch and internal transfers.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Purchase department for low stock alerts.
• Assist Production and QC teams with material-related needs.
• Report material shortages, slow-moving items, and wastage trends.

6. Housekeeping & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of store area.
• Ensure safe handling of materials and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Prevent material mix-ups, contamination, and damage.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–3 years experience in store management (plastic molding background preferred).
• Basic knowledge of raw materials used in injection molding.
• Familiarity with ERP/software for inventory (optional but preferred).
• Strong organizational, counting, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams.

Work Conditions:

• Factory-based role with regular interaction with production and QC.
• Physically active job involving lifting, moving, and arranging materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 per month
