Store Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Store cum Sales Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing the in-store team, ensuring excellent customer service, overseeing stock and deliveries, handling accounting tasks, and executing in-store marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities:Sales & Customer Service Drive in-store sales and meet/exceed targets. Greet and assist customers, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional service and follow-ups. Team & Store Management Supervise and lead the in-store staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure staff is trained in sales and service. Maintain a clean, well-organized, and visually appealing store environment. Inventory & Stock Management Track stock levels and manage inventory accurately. Coordinate with suppliers and manage incoming/outgoing stock. Ensure all items are well-tagged and displayed. Delivery & Operations Coordinate product deliveries and installations with logistics teams. Maintain timely communication with customers regarding delivery schedules. Address any delivery issues or service complaints promptly. Accounting & Administration Handle daily billing and cash register operations. Maintain petty cash and record daily sales. Assist in preparing monthly sales reports and reconciling inventory records. Marketing & Promotions Collaborate on marketing ideas and implement in-store promotional campaigns. Assist in content creation for social media and local outreach activities. Plan seasonal campaigns or offer strategies to attract footfall and drive sales. Requirements: Proven experience in retail sales or store management (furniture/home décor industry preferred). Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of customer service practices and retail operations. Familiarity with stock keeping, basic accounting, and billing software (e.g., Tally, POS). Ability to multitask and solve problems efficiently. Fluent in [English and local language].
