Description
Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: - Active Directory (AD), DNS, and DHCP: - Administer and maintain Active Directory infrastructure, including user accounts, groups, and organizational units. Configure and manage DNS and DHCP services, ensuring high availability and security. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AD, DNS, and DHCP. VxRail: - Deploy, configure, and manage VxRail hyper-converged infrastructure solutions. Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Cisco IronPort Mail Gateway: - Administer Cisco IronPort email security appliances, including configuration, policy management, and monitoring. Implement and maintain email filtering and security protocols to protect against threats. Perform regular updates and patches to ensure the latest security measures are in place. NetBackup / Networker IN Depth Knowledge required - Manage and configure NetBackup/Networker backup solutions, ensuring reliable and efficient backup and recovery operations. Monitor backup jobs and perform regular tests to verify data integrity and recovery capabilities. Troubleshoot backup and recovery issues and implement improvements as needed Storage - EMC: In Depth Knowledge Required - Administer and manage EMC storage solutions, including provisioning, configuration, and performance tuning. Monitor storage health and capacity, ensuring data availability and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal performance. Data Domain: In Depth Knowledge Required Manage Data Domain systems, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance. Implement and maintain data deduplication and backup solutions to optimize storage efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Data Domain systems. Qualifications: - Education: - Bachelors degree. Experience: - 5+ years of experience in IT systems engineering or a related role, with hands-on experience in the technologies listed. Proven experience in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. - Demonstrated expertise with VxRail hyper-converged infrastructure. Extensive experience with Cisco IronPort mail gateways. - Proficiency in NetBackup/Networker backup solutions. Strong experience with EMC storage solutions. Practical knowledge of Data Domain systems. Skills: - In-depth technical knowledge of AD/DNS/DHCP, VxRail, Cisco IronPort, NetBackup/Networker, EMC Storage, and Data Domain. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
