Role Overview: The Head of Learning & Development (L&D) is responsible for designing and executing a future-ready learning strategy that aligns with Stiebel Eltrons business objectives. This role will establish a structured L&D framework for Sales, Service, and Corporate teams, ensuring continuous capability-building, business growth, and an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will lead technical, functional, and leadership training initiatives, integrating digital learning solutions, competency frameworks, and data-driven measurement methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Learning & Development Strategy Design and implement an L&D strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on technical, sales, service, and leadership development. Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) to identify skill gaps and define structured learning pathways. Drive a continuous learning culture through structured programs, certifications, and blended learning. Collaborate with business leaders to align L&D initiatives with organizational priorities and market expansion goals. Sales Training & Development For Internal Sales Team: Train sales teams on converting online leads into successful sales. Provide product training to enhance sales skills. Guide them in identifying and developing project-based business opportunities. For Business Influencers (MEP Consultants, Architects, Direct & Indirect Dealers/Partners): Educate them about Stiebel Eltron products and solutions. Help them recommend the right products for projects. Strengthen their ability to influence product specifications. Service Training & Development For Service Engineers which includes the Strategic Partners workforce in Service: Train engineers on service policies, operations, and technical expertise. Develop "Product Champions" across different experience levels (L-1 to L-4). Provide region-wise training on high-selling products. Conduct structured certification programs for engineers, installers. Educate service teams on managing warranties, escalations, and repairs. Train engineers on selling AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) & extended warranties to improve service revenue. Train them on service policies, escalation processes, and customer service standards. Ensure they follow structured training and certification programs. Training on Adherence & Maintain a seamless service management and escalation process. Behavioral training is a key responsibility, focusing on equipping engineers with strong interpersonal skills to enhance customer interactions and deliver a ‘wow’ brand experience For Business Influencers (Consultants, Architects, and Decision-Makers): Train them on service capabilities, warranty policies, and after-sales support. Build trust by demonstrating service advantages. Strengthen relationships to ensure Stiebel Eltron products are specified in key projects. Corporate Training & Leadership Development Design leadership training programs with top management. Identify and address leadership & decision-making training needs. Partner with HR and institutes for specialized training programs. Training Execution & Evaluation Develop training materials, including product and technical content. Implement certification programs for internal teams, installers, and partners. Track training effectiveness using assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. Continuously update programs based on business needs and industry trends. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from a premier institute. 8-10 years of experience in technical service operations. Proven experience in Learning & Development (L&D), preferably in sales, technical, or service training. Strong ability to assess needs and implement effective training solutions. Expertise in e-learning, on-site training, and stakeholder engagement. CRM & LMS experience preferred. Background in engineering, HVAC, or consumer appliances is a plus. Willingness to travel across India. Work Environment Primarily office-based with occasional on-field learning and support. Mix of onsite and offsite work based on business needs.
