Sterilization manager

The role of Sterilization Technician is a full-time on-site position located in Chennai. As a Sterilization Technician, you will be responsible for decontaminating, cleaning, packaging, and sterilizing surgical instruments and medical equipment. Your duties will include monitoring and operating sterilization equipment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that the operating room and other medical areas are supplied with sterile materials. It is essential to follow strict infection control protocols to uphold a safe environment for both patients and staff. To excel in this role, you should possess skills in Decontamination, Sterilization, and Infection Control. Experience in Operating Room procedures, knowledge of Medical Terminology, and attention to detail for accuracy in record-keeping are crucial. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team is essential. Basic computer skills are required, and completion of a Sterile Processing Technician program would be advantageous. Familiarity with industry-standard sterilization practices is also beneficial.,
