Staff Secure Systems Engineer

As a Software Engineering Lead at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for leading a team in timely and high-quality execution of larger, less-defined, moderately complex tasks. Your key responsibilities will include: - Planning work by splitting it into sub-tasks, clarifying requirements, and managing dependencies - Leading teams in developing Security software in C for embedded platforms on ARM / RISCV processors - Handling increased complexity and ambiguity of new, exploratory tasks - Analyzing product requirements, identifying impacted areas, deriving requirements, and producing suitable designs - Representing the team to internal and external stakeholders on your area of responsibility - Anticipating challenges and excelling at dealing with ambiguity, unforeseen setbacks, multi-tasking, and changing priorities - Collaborating within and across functional teams to ensure quality work products are delivered - Keeping yourself up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments - Being responsible and accountable for the timeliness and quality of your own deliverables as well as that of the team Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 8 years of experience in Software development, preferably in Embedded systems and programming in C / Assembly - Strong understanding of Embedded hardware, Computer Architecture, and Operating System concepts - Good understanding of OS concepts such as tasks, signals, timers, priorities, deadlocks, stacks, etc. - Experience with code versioning tools (git / perforce), build tools (Makefiles/SCons), and debuggers like JTAG - Experience in leading software development activities independently and working with multiple teams - Good communication skills and ability to work with engineers, partners, and customers across cultures and geographical sites - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering experience OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering experience OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering experience - 2+ years of work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. If you need more information about this role, please contact Qualcomm Careers.,
