Staff Nurse (Female only)

As a Staff Nurse/RN in the healthcare facility, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients. Your responsibilities will include: - Monitoring patients" conditions and assessing their needs to deliver optimal care and advice. - Observing and interpreting patients" symptoms, and effectively communicating them to physicians. - Adjusting and administering patients" medications, and providing treatments as per physicians" orders. - Inspecting facilities to ensure excellent hygiene and safety standards are maintained, including decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, and preparing beds. - Providing immediate medical care during emergencies. - Assisting surgeons in various operations. - Assessing patients" needs in the ward and collaborating with the ward sister to create nursing care plans for all patients. - Directly providing patient care such as bed making, changing bed sheets, hair wash, and repositioning patients as needed. - Addressing patients" basic needs, including hygiene and nutrition. - Offering comfort and ensuring patient safety throughout their stay. - Taking over responsibilities from the previous shift's duty nurse, including patient details, instrument supplies, and medications, and handing over the same to the next shift. - Organizing the operation theatre setup, including laying out the trolley according to the operation list and preparing the anesthesia trolley. - Checking and preparing necessary equipment like Oxygen, Carbon dioxide, Nitrous Oxide, emergency drugs, and maintaining readiness for any emergencies. - Following instructions from the O.T. Sister and assisting the Surgeon and Anaesthetic during operations. - Ensuring all instruments and mops are counted before wound closure and monitoring and caring for patients during and after operations.
