Bharti Eye Hospital is a renowned NABH-accredited super-specialty eye care institution in New Delhi, delivering comprehensive ophthalmic services with a strong focus on patient safety, quality care, and clinical excellence. To strengthen our nursing team, we are inviting applications from experienced and dedicated Staff Nurses with exposure to ophthalmic care.

Position Overview:-

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing ophthalmic evaluation, procedures, and surgeries. The role requires close coordination with ophthalmologists, OT staff, and patient care teams to ensure smooth clinical operations and excellent patient experience in line with NABH standards.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Clinical & Nursing Care

• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to ophthalmic patients.
• Assist doctors during OPD consultations, minor procedures, and surgical interventions.
• Monitor patient vitals and ensure timely documentation in patient records.

2. Operation Theatre Support

• Assist in ophthalmic OT procedures such as cataract, refractive, and other eye surgeries.
• Ensure OT preparedness, instrument sterilization, and adherence to infection control protocols.
• Follow NABH and hospital SOPs strictly in OT and ward areas.

3. Patient Safety & Education

• Educate patients and attendants about treatment plans, medications, and post-surgical care.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times.
• Identify and report any adverse events or patient concerns to the concerned authority.

4. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate nursing documentation as per NABH standards.
• Follow hospital policies for medication administration, infection control, and waste management.
• Support internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.

5. Coordination & Teamwork

• Coordinate effectively with doctors, OT staff, front office, and support teams.

Desired Candidate Profile:-

• Qualification:

  GNM Diploma is mandatory

• Registration:

  DNC Registration is mandatory

• Experience

  : 2 to 6 years (Eye hospital experience preferred)

• Skills Required:

• Strong clinical and patient-care skills
• Knowledge of ophthalmic nursing procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
• Commitment to quality and patient safety

Salary & Benefits:-

• Salary Range:

  25,000 35,000 per month (based on experience and performance)
