Your responsibilities as an Audit Staff Accountant will include analyzing and reviewing client accounting records and financial statements, evaluating internal accounting control systems, assessing audit risk and compliance with auditing standards, creating detailed workpapers, and contributing to larger audit and accounting engagements. Additionally, you will be expected to handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 2-3 years of post-qualification experience with a U.S. accounting firm, a desire to progress into an engagement senior position, knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, proficiency in English communication, a strong work ethic, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously while collaborating effectively with domestic engagement teams.
