SRE Engineer

Required Qualifications (8+ years)

• 8+ years in SRE, Performance Engineering, DevOps, or a closely related production-engineering role.

• Strong experience operating large-scale, distributed, microservice systems in production.

• Proven track record of proactive production monitoring using metrics, logs, and traces to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.

• Hands-on performance/load testing with tools such as JMeter, Gatling, k6, or Locust — including designing endurance tests and interpreting results.

• Deep observability skills: metrics, logging, and distributed tracing (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, Splunk, ELK).

• Solid Kubernetes and AWS experience (EKS, autoscaling, networking, IAM, S3).

• CI/CD proficiency (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar) and infrastructure-as-code / GitOps (Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform).

• Strong Linux fundamentals, scripting (Bash/Python), and comfort debugging production issues from logs, traces, and metrics.

JVM performance literacy — GC tuning, heap/memory analysis, thread/connection pools
