You have a fantastic opportunity to join our team in Bengaluru with 8-10 years of experience. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reusable and scalable automation test frameworks following the Page Object Model (POM) methodology. Additionally, you will work with a hybrid framework that leverages multiple libraries for various purposes, including Jest for testing framework, Playwright for browser interaction, axios for API calls, and allure for generating reports. Your main responsibilities will include creating and executing automation test scripts, performing regression tests, and verifying defect closure. You will also enhance test scripts using element locators, webdriver methods, JavaScript programming concepts, and TestNG Annotations. Error handling, analyzing test results, and reporting defects will be essential parts of your role. Moreover, you will develop data-driven tests and run them through the framework, as well as create test scenarios and test cases for user stories. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will contribute to team agile planning activities, backlog prioritization, and management. You will be actively involved in identifying, verifying, reporting, and regressing bugs, as well as tracking defects and selecting test cases for regression testing. Reporting defects accurately and in a timely manner will be crucial to the success of the project. Your primary skillset should include proficiency in Selenium and Java, while familiarity with Playwright and Typescript/Javascript will be considered a valuable secondary skillset.
