Sr. Systems Design Engineer

As a Senior Systems Design Engineer at AMD, your role is crucial in contributing to the success of AMD's products by driving technical innovation and continuous improvement. Your expertise in software systems engineering will be key in product development, definition, and root cause resolution. Key Responsibilities: - Drive technical innovation to enhance AMD's capabilities across validation, including tool and script development, procedural methodology enhancement, and cross-functional technical initiatives - Debug issues throughout the process, from bring-up to production phases of SOC programs - Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure timely validation and optimization of all features - Work closely with supporting technical teams - Engage in software/hardware modeling frameworks Preferred Experience: - Proficiency in programming/scripting skills (e.g., C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python) - Strong understanding of debug techniques and methodologies - Experience with common lab equipment such as protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc. - Familiarity with board/platform-level debug, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimization - Knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategy Academic Credentials: - Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering At AMD, we deeply care about transforming lives with our technology and strive to enrich our industry, communities, and the world.
