Sr Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Carelon Global Solutions India, you will play a crucial role in leveraging your expertise in AWS cloud services and Snowflake data warehousing solutions. Your responsibilities will revolve around optimizing data processes, ensuring smooth data flows, and resolving any technical challenges that may arise. Here's a breakdown of what will be expected from you: **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for: - Expertise with Cloud watch, Lambda, GLUE, EMR CLUSTER - Solid understanding snowflake performance tuning concepts - End to end knowledge on ETL process - Analyzing day-to-day loads/issues and taking necessary actions during issues or escalations - Understanding all complex job and data flows in the project - Documenting and simulating complex issues - Excellent understanding of different file formats (avro, parquet) and JSON - Working in agile methodology **Key Responsibilities:** - Hands-on experience in building scalable data pipelines using AWS and Snowflake - Hands-on experience on SNOWFLAKE, Python, AWS S3-Athena, RDS, Step Functions - Hands-on experience on SNOWFLAKE and AWS Services - Experience in writing/handling complex SQL queries **Qualifications Required:** - Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers) - 4-8 years of experience in AWS, Snowflake, Data engineering, and Cloud - Hands-on experience with AWS and Snowflake - Ability to understand and document complex job and data flows, and simulate complex issues - Analytical skills to analyze, research, and solve technical challenges At Carelon Global Solutions India, we prioritize our associates" growth and well-being, offering a culture of innovation, creativity, and freedom.
