Sr. Snowflake Data Engineer

As a skilled and experienced Sr. Snowflake Data Engineer, you will be joining our data engineering team based in Bangalore. Your primary focus will be on data warehousing, cloud data platforms, and ETL/ELT processes, with a specialization in Snowflake. Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and other cloud-based platforms, optimizing Snowflake data models, schemas, and stored procedures, collaborating with data analysts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions, integrating data from various sources, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security, monitoring and troubleshooting performance issues, automating data workflows, and maintaining documentation for data architecture and processes. To be successful in this role, you should possess at least 8 years of experience in data engineering or software development, have hands-on experience with Snowflake and advanced SQL, be proficient in ETL/ELT tools, have experience with cloud platforms, demonstrate a solid understanding of data warehousing, possess proficiency in Python or Scala for data processing, be familiar with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, and have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred qualifications include Snowflake certification, experience with real-time data streaming, familiarity with data visualization tools, and exposure to business and technical analysis, QA, and emerging technologies. A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required for this position.,
