Sr. Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst

As a Sr. SOC Analyst at Dexcom Corporation, you will be part of the Security Operations Center (SOC) team responsible for leveraging SIEM and SOAR technologies to ensure the organization's security. Your key responsibilities will include: - Monitoring and analyzing security events using SIEM and SOAR technologies. - Identifying and investigating threats through threat hunting techniques. - Responding to security incidents promptly and implementing necessary actions to mitigate risks. - Developing and maintaining threat detection rules. - Automating SOAR playbooks to enhance incident response efficiency. - Collaborating with other SOC team members to ensure effective security operations. - Staying updated on the latest security threats and trends. - Participating in an on-call rotation and serving as an escalation point for the Tier 1 SOC. - Assisting in the enhancement of SIEM and SOAR tools. To be successful in this role, you should have: - A strong understanding of threat hunting techniques and incident response procedures. - Experience in developing and maintaining threat detection rules. - Skills in automating SOAR playbooks. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Capability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. - Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: - Holding a CISSP, GCIH, or other relevant security certification. - Previous experience in a SOC environment. - Familiarity with cloud security technologies. - Experience with containers for SOC response. Education and Experience Requirements: - Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, with a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience, or a master's degree with 2-5 years of equivalent industry experience, or a PhD with 0-2 years of experience.,
