As a Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ecommerce solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI, QA, and project management to deliver scalable and high-performance storefronts and backend integrations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement front-end and back-end features on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C/Demandware), such as ISML templates, controllers, pipelines, jobs, and integrations. - Implement scalable commerce solutions in alignment with business requirements and SFCC best practices. - Collaborate with UX and UI teams to ensure pixel-perfect, accessible, and performant storefront experiences. - Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and maintain documentation. - Work with DevOps and CI/CD teams to support automated deployments and environment management for SFCC. - Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and technical design discussions as a senior technical voice. - Troubleshoot production issues, implement fixes, and conduct root cause analysis. - Stay updated on SFCC releases, tools, and community best practices. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal documentation and onboarding materials. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C/Demandware). - Deep understanding of SFCC architecture, including SFRA, Business Manager, and OCAPI. - Proficiency in JavaScript (client-side and server-side), ISML, HTML5, CSS/SASS, and AJAX. - Familiarity with version control systems (Bitbucket, Git) and branching strategies. - Knowledge of performance optimization techniques like lazy loading, SSR, and CDN configurations. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills in an agile team environment. - Experience with version control (Git), agile methodologies, and continuous integration/deployment. - Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and mobile-first design principles. - Proactive mindset with a focus on clean, maintainable, and scalable code. - Experience with Node.js or similar back-end technologies is a plus. - SFCC/B2C Commerce Developer certification is a plus.
