As a Senior QA Test Analyst located in Bangalore, India, you will be an integral part of our agile development team, collaborating with talented and dedicated colleagues. Your role will require a keen attention to detail, strong analytical and diagnostic skills, and a motivation to excel within a dynamic and adaptable work environment. You will primarily work with tools such as Cucumber, NodeJS, Typescript, Playwright, Jest, Git, and AWS S3. Your responsibilities will include understanding feature-centric test design techniques and incorporating them into test plans and strategies. You should possess a deep technical understanding of integrated systems to effectively identify and address issues in the Application Under Test (AUT). Additionally, a solid grasp of BDD (Behavior Driven Development) concepts is essential to derive precise features and scenarios from PRDs, epics, and user stories. Your coding skills in Typescript should be top-notch, ensuring optimized and industry-standard code following best practices. Moreover, you should have a good understanding of test frameworks, Separation of Concerns (SOC), GitHub, code review processes, and branching. Experience with REST API testing using standard libraries is a must. As a senior engineer, you will be expected to mentor junior team members and collaborate effectively within a global team setting. Key skills for this role include: - 4-6 years of Test Automation experience in UI and API automation using JavaScript or Typescript - Proficiency in BDD, Node JS, and UI testing - Exposure to test frameworks such as jest, mocha, protractor, jasmine, or cucumber - Familiarity with automation frameworks like Playwright, Puppeteer, WDIO, or Cypress To be successful in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of software testing experience for SaaS products. This is a hybrid role based at The Leela Office in Bangalore, with an expectation of working from the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and from home on Mondays and Fridays.
