Sr Python AI/ML Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Python AI/ML Engineer with a strong passion for developing AI/ML solutions and contributing to ML pipelines. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of traditional and deep learning concepts, hands-on programming skills, experience in enterprise-grade software engineering, and a good understanding of MLOps practices. As a Python AI/ML Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and deploying scalable machine learning models for various tasks such as classification, regression, NLP, and generative tasks. You will be tasked with building and optimizing data transformation workflows using Python and Pandas, leading AI/ML project pipelines from data ingestion to model deployment and monitoring, and implementing model observability and monitoring for drift. Additionally, you will be involved in developing REST APIs and integrating ML models with production systems using frameworks like FastAPI. Participation in code reviews, writing unit/integration tests, and ensuring high code quality will be essential. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, DevOps, and Product Managers is a key aspect of this role. To excel in this position, you must have advanced proficiency in Python and its libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch. A strong understanding of asynchronous programming, FastAPI, and concurrency is required. Solid grasp of traditional ML concepts, experience with deep learning, and familiarity with MLOps tools are also necessary skills. Experience with REST API development, integration testing, CI/CD practices, containerization tools like Docker, and cloud-based ML deployment will be beneficial. Furthermore, the ability to perform data transformation and aggregation tasks using Python/Pandas is essential for success in this role. Having experience in GenAI, working with LLMs, and exposure to tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, or similar MLOps platforms are considered advantageous. Any prior contributions to open-source ML tools or GitHub repositories will be a plus.
