Role Title: Sr. Manager Manufacturing (Lead) Reports To: General Manager - Operations Location: Vasai, (Palghar District / Mumbai) Job Purpose: Oversee Production, lead teams, manage performance, and budgeting for the Manufacturing Plant. Who is the Right candidate for this Position ? Candidate should be working as Manager Production for at least 2 years in a manufacturing concern (Auto component Tier 1 supplier to OEM's /Automobile ) Preferred Age: 35-42 years (Manager/Senior Manager) Qualification: B.Tech/BE in Polymer/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering. MBA is an added advantage. Experience: 15-20 Years Key Responsibilities : - Lead Production, PPC , and Stores for Molding and Electrical Insulating products. - Implement best practices in manufacturing strategy, policies, and procedures. - Drive TPM/TQM/Lean culture in the plant. - Optimize cost performance through continuous improvement. - Coordinate cross-functional activities, resolve issues, and engage with key customers. - Estimate costs, prepare budgets, and make production-related decisions. - Monitor production data and ensure quality standards. - Support project management and ensure compliance with safety standards. - Develop plans for minimum production cost and achieve targets. - Conduct discussions for planning with internal customers. - Monitor and analyze product and process defects. - Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. - Implement Digital Factory initiatives (IIOT) for process automation. Functional Competencies: - Proven experience in managing Production department of a manufacturing concern - Deep knowledge of production management. - Prepare annual manufacturing budgets and forecasts. - Understanding of quality standards, health & safety regulations. - Experience in reporting on key production metrics. - Proficient in MS Office, ERP software, PPC, and Store management. Special Requirements: - Essential: Deep knowledge of production management. - Desirable: Outstanding communication ability and excellent organizational and leadership skills.
