Sr Lead - Power

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, your role involves designing, developing, creating, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs to launch cutting-edge products that exceed customer needs. You will collaborate with various teams to design system-level software solutions and gather performance requirements and interfaces information. **Key Responsibilities:** - Leverage software knowledge to design and develop embedded and cloud edge software. - Analyze user needs and software requirements to customize software for optimal efficiency. - Design and implement software modules for products and systems. - Participate in coding, unit testing, debugging, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed as per specifications. - Conduct code reviews, regression tests, and issue triaging to maintain code quality. - Collaborate with internal and external teams to achieve project goals. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Software Engineering experience OR Master's degree with 2+ years OR PhD with 1+ year. - 2+ years of experience with Programming Languages like C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Preferred: Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - Preferred: 6+ years of Software Engineering experience. - Preferred: 3+ years of experience with Database Management Software. - Preferred: 3+ years of experience with API. - Preferred: 1+ year of experience with Git, Perforce, or Source Code Management System.
