Sr IT QA Analyst (Performance Testing)

As a Senior Performance Test Engineer at Assurant-GCC in India, your role involves enhancing the performance of software applications under Global Auto by analyzing, testing, and optimizing systems to ensure they operate smoothly under various conditions and loads, thereby delivering a seamless user experience. This position will be based in Hyderabad. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand performance requirements and objectives (10%). - Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks and tools (25%). - Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and scripts (25%). - Analyze test results and provide detailed performance reports and recommendations (10%). - Identify performance bottlenecks and work with development teams to resolve issues (10%). - Monitor system performance and implement improvements to ensure stability and scalability (10%). - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers and engineers (10%). **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - 6+ years of experience in performance testing. - Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools. - Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript). - Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. **Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:** - Salesforce testing experience. **Tech Stack:** - JMeter - LoadRunner - Java - Bitbucket - Jenkins - Postman, SOAP UI - Dbeaver - Git - qTest - JIRA - Power BI (Optional) Assurant is a leading global business services company that supports, protects, and connects major consumer purchases.
