Job Description

Role Overview: As a Technical Specialist at Medtronic, you will contribute to advancing existing technology or introducing new technology and therapies. Your responsibilities will include formulating, delivering, and managing projects, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. You may also be involved in mentoring colleagues, overseeing the work of lower-level professionals, and primarily focusing on delivering R&D, systems, or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies while adhering to policies and utilizing specialized knowledge and skills. Key Responsibilities: - Work independently under limited supervision to determine and develop approaches to solutions. - Coach and review the work of lower-level specialists and manage projects/processes. - Responsible for entire projects or processes within your job area. - Contribute to work group objectives by building relationships and reaching agreements on assignments. - Address difficult problems that may require an understanding of multiple job areas or specialties. - Make improvements to processes, systems, or products for job area performance enhancement. - Provide in-depth analysis with recommendations for process enhancements. - Communicate with senior internal and external customers and vendors. - Exchange information to achieve objectives and influence decision-making. - Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within your job area. - Manage projects, delegating work and reviewing others" work products. Qualifications Required: - Advanced knowledge of your job area obtained through advanced education and experience. - Practical knowledge of project management. - A Baccalaureate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is necessary.
