Sr. Engineer - R & D

You will be responsible for designing and developing automated test systems for electrical/electronic components. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working with embedded systems & microcontrollers such as Arduino, PIC, STM32, or similar - Designing circuits and PCB layouts using tools like Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, Eagle - Programming for test automation using Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, MATLAB - Integrating sensors and data acquisition for temperature, force, pressure, voltage, and current sensors - Implementing communication protocols like RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, CAN, MODBUS - Integrating PLC & SCADA for industrial automation setups - Conducting power electronics and electrical testing including load testing, insulation resistance, and high-voltage testing - Developing software for data visualization using Python, .NET, or web-based interfaces - Having knowledge of IoT & cloud connectivity for remote monitoring solutions Your qualifications should include: - B.Tech/B.E. /M.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Computer Science Engineering Additional desirable skills may include: - Familiarity with ISO & IPC standards for electrical testing - Ability to work with mechanical fixtures and robotic arms for automated testing - Experience with machine learning for predictive analytics (preferred but not mandatory) - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently You should have 3-7 years of experience in designing and developing automated test systems and hands-on experience in building EOL testers for products like switches, connectors, relays, and wire harnesses. Practical exposure to industrial automation & quality control testing is also required.
