Sr Engineer PQC

As a Senior Engineer PQC & Paving, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing rigid pavement construction activities for infrastructure projects such as national highways, expressways, and airport runways. Your technical expertise and field experience will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan and execute PQC paving activities according to project schedule and specifications. - Supervise the laying of PQC using slipform or fixed form pavers, including dowel bar and tie bar placement. - Ensure compliance with approved mix designs, thickness, alignment, and surface finish. - Coordinate with batching plant and logistics teams to ensure timely supply of concrete. - Conduct regular checks on sub-base and DLC levels before PQC laying. - Monitor concrete temperature, slump, and consistency on-site. - Ensure adherence to MORTH, IRC, and project-specific quality standards. - Collaborate with QA/QC teams for cube casting, core cutting, and surface texture tests. - Operate or supervise the operation of slipform pavers, texture-cure machines, vibrators, and other relevant equipment. - Ensure regular maintenance and calibration of paving equipment. - Maintain daily progress reports, equipment logs, and pour card documentation. - Prepare and submit Method Statements, RFI, and checklist forms. - Assist in client and third-party inspections and audits. - Manage site engineers, surveyors, lab technicians, and labor teams for the smooth execution of PQC works. - Ensure compliance with HSE protocols during paving operations. - Identify bottlenecks and escalate issues for prompt resolution. **Qualifications:** - Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering - Experience: 6-10 years in infrastructure projects, with a minimum of 4 years in PQC paving, preferably in highways or runways.,
