Sr engineer lead

You will be working at Qualcomm India Private Limited as a Software Engineer in the Engineering Group, specifically in the Software Engineering department. As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, your role will involve designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs to create cutting-edge products that meet customer needs. You will collaborate with various teams to design system-level software solutions and gather information on performance requirements and interfaces. **Key Responsibilities:** - Leverage your software knowledge and experience to design, develop, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. - Analyze user needs and software requirements to customize software for optimal operational efficiency. - Design and implement software modules for products and systems. - Participate in designing, coding, unit testing, debugging, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed as per specifications and schedules. - Perform code reviews, regression tests, and issue triaging to maintain code quality. - Collaborate with internal and external teams to achieve project objectives. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Software Engineering experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years, or PhD with 1+ year. - 2+ years of experience with Programming Languages like C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Preferred: Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - Preferred: 6+ years of Software Engineering experience. - Preferred: 3+ years of experience with Database Management Software. - Preferred: 3+ years of experience with API. - Preferred: 1+ year of experience with Git, Perforce, or Source Code Management System.
