Sr Engineer- Graphics User mode developer

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to work on the development and optimization of Freedreno GL and GLES drivers for compute-class A8x GPUs. This will involve contributing to Mesa upstream compliance and improvements, as well as supporting validation and commercialization efforts for GL/GLES workloads on Linux platforms. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining Freedreno GL/GLES drivers in Mesa, implementing OpenGL ES 3.2 and EGL 1.5 features, and assisting in pre-silicon and post-silicon validation activities. To excel in this role, you should possess strong C/C++ programming skills, a solid understanding of operating system concepts, hands-on experience with Linux OS (including the graphics stack), and familiarity with Mesa and Freedreno. Qualifications for the position include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with at least 2 years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc., is required. The ideal candidate will hold a B.Tech with 4 years or M.Tech with 2 years of experience in graphics driver development or related user mode driver development.
