Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Network Security Engineer at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the security of the network infrastructure. With a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in at least 3 areas of security, you will be responsible for various tasks including firewall policy management, reviewing firewall change requests, monitoring network security devices, analyzing and reporting triggered alarms, daily ticket management, incident handling, taking backups for all SOC devices, firewall policy optimization, maintenance, and performing version upgrades and patch updates. Key Responsibilities: - Possess strong knowledge and a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in 3 or more areas of security such as Firewalls (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco), Web ATP (Palo Alto), Firewall Rule Analyser (Algo Sec), Network Intrusion Prevention System (NIPS - Cisco), Malicious IP Blocking (Net Scout). - Manage firewall policies effectively. - Review firewall change requests in alignment with customer security standards. - Monitor network security devices for potential outages. - Collaborate with vendors when necessary to resolve operational issues. - Analyze triggered alarms in NIPS/ATP and provide reports to the customer. - Manage daily tickets for change and service requests. - Handle incidents in accordance with SLA requirements. - Perform daily backups for all SOC devices and store them externally. - Optimize firewall policies and fine-tune them based on Algosec firewall analyzer. - Maintain the firewall policy security rating above 95%. - Conduct version upgrades, patch updates, and restore SOC devices. Qualifications Required: - Academic Qualifications: Eligible candidates should hold a B.E, Btech (excluding Mechanical, Civil, and Aerospace) or MCA degree. 3 years degree programs are not eligible. - Certification: Possess PCNSE certification. *Note: NTT DATA is an Equal Opportunity Employer with an On-site Working environment.*,
