The Opportunity: Avantor is looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking, and experienced Sr.Engineer - Cloud Networking, who will be responsible for delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives. Thorough understanding of technology as it relates to telecommunications & data communications, data centers, network architecture, security, and troubleshooting Must have led large network migrations or transformations. Good understanding of the Network Technologies such as VLANs, STP, VPNs, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN. Experience with Network automation in AWS using tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform. With this tools need to prepare the VPC, Subnets, route tables, also to automate the deployment of the network components, reducing the risk of manual configuration errors. Experience in designing new AWS network with firewall, Load balancer, Zscaler with other vendor products in the current basic AWS design. Implement and manage AWS network security measures, including Security Groups, Network ACLs, AWS WAF, and AWS Shield Experience in setting Network and application load balancer to manage the performance and availability of the applications. Experience in setting AWS Route 53 for DNS services, and high availability failover scenarios Experience with AWS tools such as VPC Flow Logs, CloudWatch, CloudTrail to identify logs and any network connectivity issues. Experience in VPC peering across regions, Direct connect and VPN set up. Design and configure Azure Virtual Networks (VNETS), subnets, Azure network settings, DHCP address blocks, DNS settings, security policies and routing Design Network Security Groups (NSGs) to control inbound and outbound access to network interfaces (NICs), VMs and subnets, in Azure and AWS. Design Express route and Direct connect between the Azure and AWS Clouds. Good experience with Networking products of Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, Viptela, Meraki, and Aruba. Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills Familiarity with AWS, Azure Cloud Networking concepts Abilities: Able to successfully work as a valued member of a team of engineers Able to work with global teams and global team members Able to set and achieve annual goals Able interface professionally within team, across teams and with IT customers Able to maintain composure in difficult situations Additional qualities: Desire to focus on and please the customer, ability to understand requests from the customer's point of view Commitment to high professional and ethical standards in a diverse workplace
