Sr Engineer - Build and Integration

Role Overview: As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will leverage your advanced software knowledge and experience to design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs. You will analyze user needs, software requirements, and time and cost constraints to customize software for optimal operational efficiency. Collaborating with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams, you will design system-level software solutions and ensure that projects are completed to specifications and schedules. Key Responsibilities: - Leverage advanced Software knowledge and experience to design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs. - Analyze user needs, software requirements, and time and cost constraints to design and customize software for optimal operational efficiency. - Design and implement software modules for large-scale products and systems. - Participate in and lead design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed to specifications and schedules. - Perform complex code reviews and regression tests, triage and fix issues to ensure the quality of code. - Collaborate with individuals outside the software function (e.g., Hardware, Systems, and Test engineers) to ensure solutions work with other components of a specific project. - Write detailed technical documentation for complex Software projects. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - 3 to 6 years of experience in software development. - Strong proficiency in software design, development, and validation. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey information and provide guidance to other team members. - Strong decision-making skills with the ability to influence key organizational decisions. - Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks effectively in a complex software development environment.
