Sr. Dot Net Developer

As a .NET developer in our company, your role involves building .NET applications using C#, ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net Core MVC, ASP.Net Web API, ASP.Net Core web API, Windows Azure, and SQL Server Azure. You will be responsible for designing and developing these layers of our applications while collaborating with the team on different infrastructure layers. Your commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and delivering quality products is crucial. Responsibilities: - Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications - Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code - Integrate data storage solutions like SQL Server - Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications - Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address these issues - Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of .NET web framework including .NET Core - Proficiency in C# with a good understanding of their ecosystems - Strong grasp of object-oriented programming - Ability to write reusable libraries and familiarity with various design patterns - Knowledge of concurrency patterns and experience working on Azure Functions, Web Jobs, Event Hubs, LoadBalancers, etc. - Experience in quantitative performance optimization work using profiling tools like ANTS, dotTrace, etc. - Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, popular web application frameworks, and writing clean, readable, maintainable code - Understanding of fundamental design principles for building scalable applications - Experience creating database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and views - Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds - Proficiency in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git - Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills The company offers a contractual/temporary job type with a contract length of 6 months. The benefits include the flexibility to work from home. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with morning, UK, and US shifts available. Please note that a Bachelor's degree is preferred, and the ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in .NET development.
