Proven background in software engineering or development, with experience in large-scale distributed data processing systems or equivalent environments; able to give informed, constructive technical feedback.
Deep knowledge of data modelling, testing, quality assurance, data access, and storage principles.
Hands on experience with programming language used in modern data ecosystems (Python, SQL).
Hands-on experience with Databricks and DBT (Data Build Tool) is essential.
Practical experience implementing cloud-based data technologies on platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Understanding of how to streamline the data development lifecycle and reduce lead times.
Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and working within cross-functional teams.
