Sr. Azure API Engineer

As a Senior Azure API Engineer with over 8 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level API solutions using Microsoft Azure API Management service. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient API access, security, scalability, and governance across various applications by defining architectures, policies, and best practices within the Azure API Management platform. Your key responsibilities will include defining API strategies, standards, and best practices for the organization, designing and implementing API gateways using Azure API Management, creating and managing API products including subscription tiers and usage quotas, developing and documenting API specifications such as data models, request/response structures, and error-handling mechanisms. Additionally, you will be required to implement authentication and authorization mechanisms for APIs using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD). Immediate joiners are preferred for this remote position.,
