Sr Architect - Cloud Cybersecurity

The Senior Architect - Cloud Cybersecurity role at United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd involves supporting the maturing of cloud security capabilities for United Airlines. As part of a cross-disciplinary Cyber team, you will be responsible for full stack security architecture, including the creation and maintenance of security documentation. Collaborating with various teams, you will ensure the adoption of security best practices throughout the application lifecycle. Additionally, you will conduct threat modeling, develop cloud security policies, and act as a subject matter expert in various technology domains. Key Responsibilities: - Develop security documentation and partner with teams to ensure the adoption of security best practices - Conduct threat modeling and design cloud security policies for different types of clouds - Act as a subject matter expert in multiple technology domains - Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop security principles - Develop security architecture strategies and collaborate with cybersecurity teams - Define and implement security standards and frameworks - Train and coach development and engineering teams on integrating security tools - Champion secure infrastructure-as-code for the success of cloud environments - Lead continuous improvement efforts and mentor junior team members Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - 6+ years of technical experience related to cloud - Working knowledge of cloud service providers - Proficiency in cloud security frameworks and best practices - Knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and network architectures - Proficiency in scripting and automation tools - Understanding of IAM, network security, and data encryption - Knowledge of compliance standards - Proficiency in security automation and orchestration - Ability to work independently and excellent communication skills - Legally authorized to work in India without sponsorship - Fluent in English Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree - Relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, CISSP) - AWS Solution Architect Pro., Networking, and Security Specializations - Experience in Kubernetes security - 8+ years of technical experience, with 5 years in cloud technology Successful completion of the interview process is necessary for this role.
