Job Summary

Decstudio Furnishings is hiring an experienced Senior Accountant for its Pune office. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, Tally Prime, GST, taxation coordination, billing, bank reconciliation, vendor payments, customer collections and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST compliance, Tally Prime and MS Excel, with the ability to independently manage company accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complete day-to-day accounting operations using Tally Prime.
• Maintain purchase, sales, journal, payment and receipt entries.
• Manage GST accounting, GST returns and taxation-related documentation.
• Prepare sales invoices, purchase bills, quotations and payment records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate customer collections.
• Process vendor payments and maintain supplier accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliation and customer/vendor ledger reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Track stock and inventory-related accounting entries.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, expense statements and financial reports.
• Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks, vendors and internal departments.
• Support management with financial data, costing and accounting reports.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime.
• Practical experience in GST, taxation and accounting.
• Expertise in bookkeeping and financial accounting.
• Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable.
• Bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Billing, invoicing and purchase accounting.
• Good command of MS Excel and MIS reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent commerce qualification.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime and GST is essential.
• Experience in retail, trading, interior, furnishing or project-based businesses will be preferred.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000.
• Salary based on experience, skills and interview performance.
• Full-time, permanent position.
• Work from office in Pune.
