Position Summary: As a Chef de Partie (CDP) at Squaremeals, you will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., mains, sauces, grilling, or prep). You will oversee junior kitchen staff, ensure high standards of food quality, and maintain efficiency during food production and service. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to a consistent standard. Ensure food is delivered on time, especially during high-volume periods. Supervise and train junior kitchen staff (commis, assistants) assigned to your section. Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and comply with hygiene and food safety standards. Manage inventory and stock levels for your section, alerting the Head Chef of shortages or overages. Ensure recipe accuracy, portion control, and plating standards are consistently met. Collaborate with other CDPs and kitchen teams to ensure smooth workflow and order readiness. Assist the Head Chef in new menu development or dish testing as required. Qualifications: 2–4 years of experience in a professional kitchen; experience in cloud kitchens or QSR is a plus. Deep understanding of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food hygiene standards. Ability to manage a station independently and lead a small team. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Cloud Kitchen Chef to join our team and oversee the preparation and execution of meals in a delivery-focused kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in working efficiently without a dine-in setup, maintaining high food quality, and adapting to fast-paced, tech-driven operations. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes as per the cloud kitchen menu and standard recipes. Ensure all food items are prepared, portioned, and presented in a timely and consistent manner. Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen, complying with all food safety and sanitation standards (FSSAI guidelines preferred). Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflows during peak delivery hours. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure stock availability. Handle packaging and labelling of food items accurately for delivery. Assist in creating or updating recipes and improving operational efficiency for delivery-based services. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly and safely. Minimize food wastage through proper storage and preparation techniques.
