In this role as an SQL ETL Snowflake Developer, you will leverage your expertise in advanced SQL, focusing primarily on Snowflake. Your responsibilities will revolve around working in data integration, utilizing ETL tools like Datastage, Informatica, or Snaplogic. It will be crucial to translate technical requirements into data collection queries. Your role also involves collaborating with business and IT teams to convert requirements into queries and having a strong grasp of ETL architecture and design. Your key responsibilities will include: - Utilizing advanced SQL skills with a specialization in Snowflake for data integration tasks - Working with ETL tools like Datastage, Informatica, or Snaplogic to transform technical requirements into data collection queries - Collaborating with business and IT teams to understand and convert requirements into queries - Demonstrating a good understanding of ETL architecture and design principles - Applying knowledge of UNIX commands, databases, SQL, and PL/SQL to enhance data integration processes - Optional: Experience with AWS Glue and knowledge of the Qlik replication tool would be beneficial Qualifications required for this role are as follows: - Overall IT experience of 6 years and above - 4-5 years of strong experience in advanced SQL with any database, with a focus on Snowflake - Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Datastage, Informatica, or Snaplogic - Good understanding of UNIX commands, databases, SQL, and PL/SQL - Optional: Experience with AWS Glue and knowledge of the Qlik replication tool would be a plus.
