We are seeking an energetic and creative Radio Jockey (RJ) to host engaging radio shows that entertain, inform, and connect with our target audience. As an RJ, you will have the opportunity to showcase your pleasant voice, strong command of language, good sense of humor, and passion for music, culture, or specific genres like spiritual, news, or youth content. Your key responsibilities will include hosting live or pre-recorded radio shows as per the programming schedule, creating and delivering engaging content, interacting with callers, conducting on-air games or quizzes, interviewing guests, researching and writing show scripts, managing on-air timing, collaborating with various teams, engaging with the audience through social media platforms and live events, staying updated on current events and trends, and ensuring compliance with broadcast regulations and station policies. To excel in this role, you should have excellent communication and presentation skills, command over languages such as English, Telugu, Hindi, etc. as per station requirements, a clear and pleasant voice with good modulation, creative thinking, spontaneity on-air, a good sense of humor, storytelling ability, strong knowledge of music and entertainment trends, basic audio editing skills (preferred), and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Media, Journalism, or a related field (preferred). Prior experience in radio, podcasting, or public speaking is an advantage. This position requires flexibility with work hours, including early mornings and weekends, as it involves studio-based work with occasional outdoor or on-location events. The job type is part-time. Experience as an RJ for at least 1 year is preferred, and proficiency in Telugu and English languages is preferred for this role.
