Total Sports is building India’s home for sport: one app where athletes, coaches, academies, event organisers, fans and sponsors come together. On Total Sports, athletes build a verified profile and earn a Performance Score. Coaches use slow-motion video to analyse performance, academies manage training and fees, and organisers run and live-stream events from a phone or an external camera.

At the heart of the platform is our sponsorship marketplace, where brands sponsor Indian athletes, teams and events, including rural and para athletes. We’re a bootstrapped, founder-led company with a core team that has built digital products together for about nine years. We’re starting in India and plan to reach other countries next.

The role

You’ll own sponsorship revenue for Total Sports. You’ll bring brands, CSR teams and foundations onto the marketplace, design sponsorship packages that work for both sponsors and athletes, and make sure every partner sees clear value. This is a founding role: you’ll work directly with the founder and help shape how sponsorship works on the platform.

What you’ll do

• Win sponsors: Find, pitch and close brands, sports companies, local businesses and corporate CSR teams for athletes, teams, events and live-streamed matches.
• Unlock CSR funds and grants: Build relationships with CSR heads, foundations and grant bodies to fund grassroots, rural and para athletes.
• Design packages: Create tiered sponsorships, such as athlete, team, event and live-broadcast packages, with clear pricing, deliverables and visibility.
• Manage partners: Onboard sponsors to the marketplace, coordinate activation with athletes and organisers, and keep partners engaged for renewals.
• Show value: Report reach, engagement and outcomes to sponsors using platform data, including athlete Performance Scores, event viewership and campaign results.
• Grow the ecosystem: Partner with academies, federations, associations and event organisers to bring more sponsor-ready athletes and events onto the platform.
• Shape the product: Feed sponsor and athlete needs back to the product team to improve the marketplace experience.
• Own the pipeline: Track leads, proposals and revenue in a CRM, and meet monthly and quarterly sponsorship targets.

What you’ll bring

• 4–8 years in sports sponsorship, sports marketing, brand partnerships, media sales or CSR partnerships.
• A network across brands, agencies and corporate CSR teams in India.
• A proven record of closing deals and managing sponsor relationships end to end.
• Strong proposal writing and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of the Indian sports ecosystem, from grassroots and school sport to leagues and federations.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, early-stage, bootstrapped team.
• Fluent English and Hindi; other Indian languages are a plus.

Good to have

• Experience with CSR rules under the Companies Act and how CSR funds are deployed in sport.
• Exposure to para sports, rural sports programmes or athlete welfare initiatives.
• Experience selling digital assets such as live-streaming, in-app visibility and social media.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot or GoHighLevel.
